The opening address was delivered by Dr. Subhash Chandra, Conference
Director & President GHA India. He explained the Theme of WPHC2018 Conference “Together for Peace, Justice and Social Harmony &
Dignity for all”. He also
explained the importance
of International Peace Day 21st Sept.2018 & how to achieve the inner
peace & world peace in 21st century.

Theme of the Year 2018: “The Right to Peace
The theme celebrates the 70th anniversary of the
Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The theme for 2018 is: “Together for
Peace: The Right to Peace” aims to highlight the importance of all segments of society to work
together to strive for peace. The theme for the
International Day of Peace in 2018 is “The Right to Peace - The Universal
Declaration of Human Rights at 70”
Dr. Markandey
Rai, Senior Advisor, UN-Habitat Chief Guest of the Conference delivered his
address to the assembly. He gave a discourse on the significance of International
Peace Day 21st Sept.2018 for solving the issues of poverty, peace &
justice.
He also
highlighted the importance of
infusing the ideals of respect for peace and justice and acceptance in the minds of the younger
generation

and acceptance in the minds of the younger generation for creating peaceful
society.
More than 150
delegates, eminent scholars, philosophers as well as educationists, media
persons and research scholars participated in the World Peace & Humanity

Book Global Peace Science : Victory of Peace over War in XXI Century
was
released by Dr. Subhash Chandra.

The theme

threw light on multifarious issues pertaining to global issues of conflicts
& violence in the world and solutions of global problems though education and youth
leadership for sustainable development .

P. R. Trivedi, Founder chairman , (IIEE), NewDelhi, highlighted the
global problems of Peace & Environment & ecological problems due to the human behavior &
erosion of human values. He laid down the emphasis on importance of Peace
& Environment education & cultivating the peace & ecological
values in the minds of youth for achieving sustainable peace & holistic
development.

In Technical Session I and II distinguished
resource persons gave deliberations on World
Peace & Humanity, Peace Values and Peace & Sustainable Development.
Guest of Honour: Ramesh Kumar, Conference Secretary, Vice-President (GHA) ,India
highlighted about the social & their solution by Yoga &
Meditation to achieve inner Peace & world peace.
Special Guest Speaker Mr. Faisal Khan, National Secretariats, Khudai Khidmatgar, New Delhi spoke about
unity of religions for world peace & Guest Speaker: Rima Arora , Life Coach &
Director- Holistic Sciences Research Institute(HSRI), New Delhi spoke
cultivating peace values foe inner
peace and social harmony.
